Risk, Probability and Cognition

This article discusses defi nitions and the modern concept of risk. The author demonstrates normative, technical cognitive problems associated with calculated values possible damage probability a negative event, also suggests looking at nition risk in isolation from probability. aim work is to draw attention aspects important, since, according author, peculiarities human perception can signifi cantly distort information, both collected processed during analysis procedure. As arguments favor author’s position, results many years research by world-famous scientists are presented.
